Woods & Co Recruitment has partnered with a leading boutique law firm that specialises in wills, estates, guardianship, and administration. They also manage the affairs of persons under disability through VCAT’s Guardianship List. They are seeking a Legal Secretary/Law Clerk to assist the lawyers across the practice. This varied role offers file management and client contact. Our successful candidate will have previous experience in wills and estates including applications for grants of representation and estate administration. Regular social events.   What do you do… Assisting with probate and letters of administration applications Assisting with the management of VCAT administration files including liaising with clients with disability Diary and calendar management File maintenance  Preparation of correspondence and legal documents including estate litigation matters Preparation of briefs to Counsel Billing and other administrative duties   What do you need… Experience in wills and estates including applications for grants of representation and estate administration. Experience in VCAT Guardianship matters (particularly financial administration) and estate litigation would be highly regarded. You will have strong time management and organisational skills and a willingness to adapt to a varied workload. Minimum 3 years’ experience as a legal secretary/clerk/assistant.
