Join the team We are currently have an exciting opportunity for a Merchandise Business Analyst to join our Merchandise Team. You will build and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge, provide SME support and training for merchandise reporting, data, and platforms and provide governance across all merchandise data activities. What you’ll be doing As a Merchandise Business Analyst working for Kmart you will:           Manage reporting infrastructure. Provide training and ongoing support for business users. Develop strong relationships with business users to understand their needs and potential opportunities to further enhance current BI solutions. Maintain and validate Merchandise data quality. Drive and ensure that sustainable, relevant solutions to business data problems are explored, assessed and delivered. Fulfil business critical processes to maintain stock integrity. Maintain key documentation and manuals around merchandise process to further support business users and governance. Provide advice and guidance within own subject matter domain. Extend subject matter expertise and support knowledge sharing across the team and with stakeholders. To be successful in this role you’ll have: Hands-on experience with Power BI or similar BI tools. Advanced Excel skills with experience in managing large datasets. Proficiency in SQL query writing and data manipulation. Experience in data preparation, data gateway, and data warehousing projects. Familiarity with Merchandise Planning systems. Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to negotiate, influence, and hold team members accountable.
