About the role:   The Administration Officer provides frontline administration support to Front Reception, Billing, New Patient and RT Bookings, Medical Typing, and other administration areas as directed by the Business Manager to suit the department's service needs.   This part time Administration Officer role will be four days per week (8:30am to 5:00pm) which includes three days per week in our billing team and one day per week entering patient appointments.    Your main duties will include: Effective completion of tasks and customer service as part of the Radiation Oncology Department. Efficient and accurate processing of Medicare billing and associated tasks as a part of the Billing Team. Undertake referral management, new patient and treatment review appointments as a part of the Patient Booking Team. About you Excellent customer service skills and experience. Competence in administrative skills and general office procedures. Ability to work unsupervised with excellent time management skills. Demonstrated communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. Computer and general literacy with accurate keyboard and data entry skills. Ability to work proficiently in periods of high demand and activity as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
