Based at our Wodonga Board manufacturing facility this role provides the perfect opportunity to join a global leader in our field. The Role   Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be part of a high performing team responsible for the maintenance and repair of plant and equipment. This facility runs a rotating shift roster. Overtime is usually available for those who wish to work additional hours. You will work in a high performing team responsible for the ongoing maintenance, performance, and safety, supporting PLC controlled systems, a variety of packaging plant and some of the latest servo-controlled Corrugated and Converting Machines.  Some of your additional responsibilities will include: Contribute to a safe and compliant working environment. Conduct preventative maintenance of all plant and equipment. Provide service to maintain production and resolution of operational or technical problems. Ensure you work as a member of a cohesive team while maintaining individual responsibility. What you will bring to the team: A background in mechanical applications and manufacturing process experience. Basic oxy acetylene gas experience as a minimum together with mig/tig/stick welding skills. You’re analytical and keenly focused on process and continuous improvement. Mechanical trade qualifications and a valid forklift licence. Experience working in a fast paced, high-volume environment while maintaining the required safety standards. Good communication and reporting skills. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a “get the job done” approach every day. Benefits: On the job support, development, and training.
