About the Role Stowe Australia is seeking a self-motivated, passionate individual to join our dynamic and ever-growing business to oversee our HSEQ requirements, primarily focusing on successfully implementing our HSEQ procedures, policies, and initiatives across the construction and services areas of our Northern NSW branch. The successful candidate will be a team player who is outcome-focused, with a strong sense of responsibility, a desire to grow, and a willingness to take ownership of the role.   As HSEQ Co-ordinator, you will: Promote and drive the desired safety culture, values, initiatives and expected behaviour. Partner with the Site Managers and front-line supervisors and provide subject matter, advice, and guidance. Mentor and coach site leadership to manage and implement safety programs. Coordinate WH&S training for relevant staff in areas such as incident investigations, risk assessments and internal audits. Ensure injuries and incidents are investigated and corrective actions implemented. Support project teams in the coordination of incident management. Support injured workers and manage all return-to-work responsibilities. Ensure safety targets are being met. Administration of WH&S data management systems. Represent the organisation during major safety audits. Maintain and control the company's HSEQ Management Systems. Ensure accurate records, training certificates, inspection reports and other documents are readily available on request. Assist in project pre-planning to ensure project procedures and specifications reflect WHS and environmental requirements. Preparation of project management plans and other related HSE documentation. Work with supervisors and managers to improve safe operating procedures and plant and equipment management. Support operational teams with HSEQ activities and initiatives on permanent and temporary sites. Coordinate internal HSEQ operational audits, inspections, and reporting. Support the development and implementation of new HSEQ programs and training initiatives.   About You We are looking for someone who has: Formal qualifications in WHS practices (or currently working towards) Minimum two years experience in a similar role within the construction industry (electrical experience highly desired, but not essential) Effective written and oral communication skills, including developing and managing cooperative working relationships and resolving issues by reporting and negotiating. General knowledge of systems, procedures, and document control principles. General knowledge of business and management principles involved in the coordination of people. Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. General Construction Induction Card (white card).
