ABOUT YOUR ROLE This is a casual Disability Support Worker role located in Lawnton where you will be assisting customers with a variety of disabilities who may have complex behaviours, prioritising tasks efficiently, and cultivating a supportive atmosphere that encourages independence and development. You will be providing care to our customers in home and out in the coumminty. If you're passionate about making a difference in people's lives, we want you on our team! RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE: Assisting with daily tasks (personal care, meal prep) Administritering medication Providing companionship Transporting customers Manual handling REQUIREMENTS The successful applicant will be required to hold or be willing to obtain; Previous experience in disability or similar in a home setting (required) Flexible availability for a 24/7 roster (day, evening and sleepover shifts) Valid drivers licence (P2 or open) Right to work in Australia COVID-19 vaccinations (x2 doses) CPR and First Aid certificate NDIS worker screening clearance (yellow card) Working with Children Check (blue card) NDIS orientation module certificate ABOUT MULTICAP At Multicap our sole purpose is to ensure that the quality of life of people living with disability and their families is enhanced by our support, at Multicap we believe everyone deserves to live life to the full.
