Their successful business model balances commercial success with social impact.Job DescriptionAchieving and exceeding sales targets and maximising the number of face-to-face calls with existing customers in the assigned territory (Perth and regional areas of Western Australia).Maintaining solid relationships with customers by understanding their needs, resolving complaints, and ensuring their requirements are met promptly.Growing the assigned territory by influencing customers, launching new product lines, and developing innovative sales strategies.Analysing sales and marketing data to determine effective sales techniques and monitoring competitors' activity within the territory.Conducting at least 6-8 face-to-face customer visits daily, signing customers to agreements, and processing orders through the company's CRM system.Training customers on the company's products and maintaining detailed follow-up notes on the CRM system.Processing excess stock, bonus stock, free stock, and out-of-date products in accordance with company policies.Ensuring good communication with customers by responding to emails promptly and escalating relevant information to appropriate recipients.Reporting adverse events, assisting with product recalls and defects, and sharing industry information with colleagues and managers.Adhering to the company's IT requirements and policies, and working closely with the manager in the field.The role involves extensive travel within the assigned territory, strong sales and relationship-building skills, excellent communication and organisational abilities, and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape.The Successful ApplicantProven track record: Demonstrated experience working as a sales representative within an assigned territory, with a proven ability to achieve sales targets and build strong customer relationships.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Exceptional customer service skills, strong verbal and written communication abilities, and the capacity to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with customers and stakeholders.Analytical and problem-solving aptitude: Sound analytical and problem-solving skills to analyse sales data, identify customer needs, and develop innovative strategies to drive sales growth and address challenges.Negotiation and consultative selling: Effective negotiation and consultative sales skills to persuade customers, understand their requirements, and provide tailored solutions.Organisational and time management: Strong organisational and leadership skills to manage a fast-paced work environment, prioritise tasks, and complete a minimum of 6-8 face-to-face customer visits daily.Pharmaceutical industry knowledge: A clear understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape, industry trends, and their potential impact on the company's products.Professionalism and work ethic: A friendly, professional, and supportive demeanour, coupled with a customer-focused approach, appropriate appearance and dress code, and a "can-do" attitude.Adaptability and continuous learning: The ability to learn and develop new skills, embrace challenges, and adapt to changing circumstances with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.Teamwork and collaboration: Effective collaborative skills to work as a team player, share knowledge and industry information with colleagues, and foster a supportive work environment.Technical proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and the ability to adhere to company processes, IT requirements, and policies.A successful candidate would possess a unique combination of sales acumen, industry knowledge, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to achieving targets while maintaining a customer-centric approach and contributing to the company's growth.
