Senior Business Analyst (Insurance)

Due to significant business growth, this Insurer is looking to hire a new Senior Business Analyst on a permanent basis.You will be providing an interface between all business entities, supported brands and Information Technology specialists to create meaningful documentation and implement planning for systems and processes.You will be operating as the sole Business Analyst, so you will need to be comfortable with a broad role as opposed to a narrow scope.Skill set / Experience needed:· Proven experience working as a Business Analyst with the Insurance domain.· Knowledge of Claims and Policy systems.· Knowledge across Underwriting and Broker Portals.· A heavy focus on process and system improvement. · Experience facilitating workshops to understand business requirements.· Creation of user stories that clearly document the business requirements.· Expertise whereby you can provide analysis on configuration of applications versus a requirement for development / customisation.· Involvement in story card estimation, configuration, troubleshooting issues and providing systems support.· Perform unit testing, systems testing and post implementation verifications (when required).· Document and maintain system specifications, solution designs and other documentation using approved standards (including Jira, Confluence and other knowledge base tools).· Experienced with Insurance platforms such as Duck Creek, Guidewire, Entsia, UPM+.Offices based in the North Sydney, offering a flexible workplace.
