People Business Partner 1 x Temporary Full Time (6 Months), 35 hours, 5 days per week Competitive Salary

We are looking for a People Business Partner with a proven track record in delivering outstanding generalist HR service, advice and support throughout a complex and diverse organisation.

Working as part of a broader People and Organisational Development team, and within a dedicated client group, our People Business Partners provide a one stop shop approach to their internal customers with the aim of delivering on the operational and cultural needs of the client group and broader organisation.

The ideal applicant will have a high level interest in being able to contribute to the delivery of Council’s Community Strategic Plan through the:

  • Establishment of a trusted and effective business partnering relationship
  • Implementation of effective talent development and engagement strategies
  • Provision of sound, customer / business focussed advice on all aspects of the employment relationship.
  • Provision of sound advice to ensure achievement of client group objectives
  • Provision of advice and development of strategies to enable the implementation of change

To be successful in this position you must have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent knowledge and experience in all facets of contemporary people management in a diverse blue and white collar unionised environment.

A competitive salary will be offered dependent upon the relevant skills and experience of the successful applicant.
