About us As an online sale platform of Tasmania's leading food retailers, the company provides a fully hosted specialist grocery e-commerce platform to supermarkets and grocers across Australia and New Zealand. Our e-commerce platform can assist supermarket, grocery stores, bottle shop chains, wholesalers, specialist food procedures to run their business conveniently. We are looking for a professional Software Engineer to join the company located in Hobart. This is a permanent opportunity to promote and develop your professional skills. Your duties will focus on our e-commerce platform to design and develop relevant system. Job Duties: Design, develop, and maintain complex software solutions using C#, JavaScript, SQL Server, and Python (preferred) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging activities Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members Continuously improve software quality and performance through best practices and new technologies Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on C#, JavaScript, and SQL Server Experience with Python is preferred Strong understanding of software design principles and patterns Experience with Agile development methodologies Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills How To Apply If the above position sounds like an opportunity for you, apply today with your CV and cover letter, outlining how you are suitable for the position.
