How will I help?

  • Maintaining and delivering on-time, accurate and valuable information and analysis, to effectively meet the needs of CDO's business partners and customers
  • Lifting the collective operational management capability across relevant teams
  • Developing systems, information and analysis that enables a 'One source of truth' across Westpac
  • Supports the development, articulation and implementation of business strategy through insight and information analysis

What do I need?

  • 1-2 years of experience in Analytics essential
  • Mature judgement and initiative, imagination, resourcefulness and tact
  • Proven skills in organising, prioritising, problem solving and decision making
  • Proven high level conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills, including having a high attention to detail.
  • Sound communication, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Sound stakeholder management experience and proven ability to liaise at all levels
  • Ability to turn quantitative and qualitative analysis into business insights, opportunities and solutions
  • Effective communication of work using Powerpoint and Word
  • Previous experience with P&L and balance sheet analysis and interpretation desirable
  • Knowledge of Finance & Accounting principles

Technical Skills :

  • SQL / Teradata knowledge and experience required, AGILE preferred
  • Base SAS and/or SAS EG experience will be an advantage
  • Advanced analytical and business analysis skills delivered at a high standard and with attention to detail, AGILE highly regarded
  • Preparation and delivery of actionable insights (development and presentation)
  • Relevant Tertiary education-Math, Science, Commerce, Information systems, management
