We have an exciting 2IC position available in Kambah, ACT for the next step in your career!

  • This part-time permanent role will have the support from a Director of Service, Mentor, Regional Manager, team of Educators, plus a Head Office who believe that staff wellbeing is of the utmost importance to provide ongoing high-quality care to children.   • Work along side another Coordinator to manage your own program (make it your own!) with the support of the Director.

  • Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences at before and after school care.

  • Assist with compliance documentation and parent enquiries.

  • Engage with the school community in all areas including community engagement.

  • Play and have FUN with primary school-aged children.

  • Co-manage or coordinate during the school holiday program.

  • Confident interpersonal skills, no matter if you’re talking with a Kindergartener, their parent, one of your team or the school principal

  • Attend PD days and Training to progress your career with TeamKids

Role specifics : Permanent Part-Time - Monday to Friday 30 hours per week:

  • Before School Care hours: 7:15am - 9:15am
  • After School Care Hours: 2:30pm - 6:00pm
  • Admin: 2.5 hours per week.- Work block shifts during Vacation Care time.
  • You thrive in a fast paced environment and you love kids, in fact you’re still a big kid at heart
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Confident interpersonal skills, no matter if you’re talking with a Kindy student, their parent, one of your team or the school Principal
  • Strong problem-solving skills and can-do attitude
  • You’re a natural leader with an eye for detail
  • Have a genuine interest in creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children
  • You’re energetic, enthusiastic and love to have FUN!
