About You : Knowledge and adequate experience working in a real estate and willingness to continue learning Excellent interpersonal/telephone skills and intuition Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and a persistent approach to time management High levels of enthusiasm, energy, and resourcefulness Excellent planning, organisation and computer skills High degree of accountability and attention to detail Flexible and open to change Position Summary : The Property Management Assistant is a key role in the eventual progression to a Property Managers role. A key challenge in this position is to have effective time management skills and be able to prioritise tasks and workload so as to be able to complete many differing tasks in a given day. This role also requires a high degree of accuracy and documenting of activities undertaken. The property management assistant will need to follow direction from the property manager, senior property manager and business development manager (Client Services Manager) to perform duties with care while following office procedure and routines. Key Requirements : Current Real Estate Certificate of Registration, or willing to obtain NSW Drivers Licence Own Vehicle Job Responsibility : Assist in the maintaining of the rent roll and integration of new properties to the business Coordinate alongside the property manager, senior property manager and client services manager to ensure that high quality services are consistently provided to owners and tenants in the management of properties Ensure properties are maintained in accordance with the owner’s instructions under the direction of supervising staff Maintain all the Required Records eg leases, MAA ingoing/outgoing condition reports etc Arrange advertising on internet as required Handling maintenance issues including obtaining quotes and confirming job with tradesperson, Liaising with SPM in regarding property repairs and maintenance Assist with tenant selection Provide property information and assistance to tenants as requested Job Functions : Residential - Property management and leasing Job Benefits : Great work life balance A supportive culture Stability from an established company Selling Point : Property Management Contact : Paul Hartgers
