Position: Speech Therapist Location: Perth, Western Australia About the Role: We are currently partnering with our client to recruit a passionate and dedicated Speech Therapist to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing personalized therapy services to individuals with disabilities within residential aged care. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech and communication disorders, ensuring that each client receives the tailored care they deserve. Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and communication disorders. Develop individualised therapy plans based on assessment findings and client goals. Deliver direct therapy services to clients, both individually and in group settings. Monitor client progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care. Educate clients, families, and caregivers on speech therapy techniques and strategies. Maintain accurate client records and documentation. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology. Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia. Experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a community or NDIS setting. Strong clinical assessment and therapy skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
