Take a career road trip with us!NRMA Parks and Resorts is an industry leader in the Holiday Park industry, offering a wide range of services and currently either owning or managing 50 parks throughout Australia. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager/Caretaker of this stunning property. NRMA Mildura Riverside Holiday Park is located on the mighty Murray and only a few minutes drive from town. Boasting an indoor adventure playground, heated outdoor pool, splash-park, water slides and river access!The Role:You will report to and assist the Park Manager to manage an efficient and reliable park operation through the provision of a consistently high standard of Park presentation. You will provide management with assistance in maintaining the park grounds and facilities, ensuring the overall appearance and security are to the highest possible standard. This is a live onsite role and shared on call duties/after hours duties will be required on a rostered basis.Core responsibilities include: Provide general maintenance tasks and oversee the maintenance program.Implement and ensure consistent preventative maintenance measuresProvide oversight to the day to day running of the park including front office duties, when the park manager is away.Displaying a hands-on approach to the park including guest interaction.Acknowledging that all employees are valued and important members of the park team and maintaining leadership credibility in all areas of the park operation by exhibiting consistent high standards of personal ethics.Liaising with the Park Manager with regards to significant maintenance issues, repairs and soft refurbishment projects.Monitoring and maintaining a high standard of safety of all guests, visitors and employees How Do You Measure Up? You will be able to demonstrate experience in staff management. You will have a flexible attitude to work and the passion to work as part of a team, who are hands on, confident and have a passion for delivering outstanding guest service. Previous experience operating equipment and machinery related to grounds.Outstanding guest relations and communications skills and the ability to relate to and host resort guests from a wide range of nationalities and backgrounds.Proven ability to multitask.Knowledge of relevant statutory/regulatory requirements impacting on resort operations such as Environmental LegislationAn understanding of the operation of Pool maintenance and Pool safety would be highly regraded.You are a bit tech savvy and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. You are a hands-on leader; you walk the talk. The Perks!
