About the role: Glennie Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is looking for fun, engaging and energetic Educators to join their team immediately and for the next vacation care period. The position involves working with children and young people in a fun-loving environment and providing them with the opportunity to learn and grow through play. Our Vacation Care program is filled with exciting activities, incursions and excursions.  We are seeking people who will match our excitement and enthusiasm in the delivery of educational experiences to our children.  Essential: The successful applicant must be supportive of the ethos of Anglican Schools, in addition to holding the following certifications: current paid blue card or exemption card; current First Aid certificate (HLTAID012); current CPR certificate (HLTAID009); approved Certificate III qualification, OR approved diploma level qualification, OR working towards. Desirable Diploma in Children’s Services (Early Childhood Education and Care) hold an approved diploma level qualification, OR hold a former approved diploma level qualification completed before 1 January 2012 OR hold a qualification that ACECQA has assessed as equivalent to an approved diploma level educator qualification Certificate III education and care qualification or working towards hold an approved Certificate III qualification hold a former approved Certificate III qualification completed before 1 January 2012 OR  hold a qualification that ACECQA has assessed as equivalent to an approved certificate III qualification Experience  You will have experience in a similar role and a mature and professional approach to your work.  Experience in the childcare industry. Possess a high level of interpersonal skills to work and effectively communicate with the OSHC team members, and a variety of other School staff. Function independently in the role. Work efficiently and effectively under pressure.
