Venue Manager - Adelaide

Woods & Co Recruitment  have partnered with the team behind this outstanding hospitality group that are expanding into Adelaide. They are on the hunt for a astute, capable Venue Manager to be a part of the team of this new game-fuelled social hub providing state of the art games for adults, exceptional food and beverage offering all within a venue like no other! To be considered for this role you must be an experienced venue manager, a veteran in shaking a few tins, problem solve on the go, manage a big team and in a fast-paced venue and have a love of music, fun games, amazing food and most of all be the leader of your team. You will be a person who lives and breathes the hospitality industry and is well versed in the general operations of a large scale venue, willingness to grow with the expansion and pass your knowledge on through training and development of your team. Manage and lead your team Strong F&B background and knowledge  Come from a restaurant, bar background.  Manage open and closing procedures.  Money Handling / cash up / change Work closely with BOH teams Wine and cocktail knowledge preferrable  Train and develop your team Ensure smooth venue operations during service Rostering and keeping inline with labour percentages, COGs Venue maintenance and repairs   What do you need? At least 2 years experience in a busy multifaceted venue Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Weekend availability and willingness to work across a 7-day roster including weekends, and some late nights Ability to problem solve and prioritise tasks. Fluent written and verbal skills  Willingness to be part of an enthusiastic and motivated team and lead by example.
