About the role Grampians Health is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Social Worker for the role of Grade 2 Children and Young Person Counsellor/Advocate at the Ballarat Centre Against Sexual Assault. This is a permanent role of up to 64 hours per fortnight. Primary clinical responsibilities include trauma-informed therapeutic treatment of children and young people exhibiting harmful sexual behaviours; contribution to the after-hours roster. Sound knowledge and experience in undertaking psychosocial assessments, well developed communication skills and the ability to advocate and work collaboratively in the pursuit of client are required.  Experience in working in community and healthcare settings with an emphasis on sexual assault and family violence would be a highly regarded attribute.
