Senior Estimator (SMP)

The role of Senior SMP Estimator will see you based in our Milton office and responsible for the successful bid and estimating work for projects throughout the country. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned estimating professional to showcase their skills and make a significant impact on our Engineering Construction Division here on the East Coast. You will utilise your ability to scope the work, manage the full estimate and assist in the planning of the project delivery. Why us? What you will bring • Demonstrated experience of design / engineering construction estimating • Formal SMP trade or engineering background in a construction environment • An ability to interface with the Civil and E&I aspects of each estimate • Strong commercial acumen with advanced computer literacy and organisational skills • A skillset that can successfully lead and compile all estimate inputs into one master estimate • Provide inputs to Risk and Opportunity reviews • Contribute to management reviews including the confidence and ability to present estimates to senior management • Highly developed communication skills and attention to detail • Advanced extensive Excel skills • Intermediate MS Word and MS PowerPoint skills, plus basic – intermediate P6 Primavera skills • An ability to prepare detailed Basis of Estimate documents • Prior InEight software experience highly attractive • Proof of right to work in Australia.
