Casual position Band 3 Salary from $29.74 - $31.83 per hour, plus casual loading and super About the role Eureka Centre Ballarat is seeking casual Visitor Experience Officers to welcome and introduce visitors to the experiences offered at the Eureka Centre. This is an active customer-focussed role based at the front desk. As part of an agile team, you will be the primary contact for visitors. Responsibilities include cash handling and daily reconciliation of tickets and gift sales, stocktaking and preparing merchandise for display, setting up and supporting the delivery of public events, ensuring museum functionality, ensuring public safety, with reference to clear processes. Shifts are mostly on weekends, with some weekday and evening shifts available as required. Key responsibilities include: Deliver a consistent and high-quality visitor experience Complete all retail transactions in the Front of House (FOH) area, including entry ticketing, using Point of Sale (POS) to record sales and end of day reconciliation. Open and close the museum, keep the space tidy and protect all assets on display Replenish retail displays and keep the gift shop today, as per procedures Treat visitors equitably and respectfully and support diverse audiences to connect with the Eureka Centre experience through multiple entry points.
