About the opportunity: In this key role you will hold responsibility for the ‘on site and delivery' management of an important project located at Boulder WA. You will have the advantage of town based camp accommodation and you will be a key conduit between Holcim and the Client Project Team – ensuring that the concrete process is carried out in a cost-effective manner with measurement of key inputs and outputs being the basis for constant improvement. Further and detailed responsibilities are found in the position description which is available upon request and will include: * Monitoring the project schedule and ensuring project deadlines are met * Batching concrete using multiple computer systems * Setting daily rosters of trucks and people * Scheduling of jobs * Coordinating various work fronts on site to maximise productivity and ensure adherence to contractual obligations * Directing drivers and plant staff and allocating and assigning loads to drivers * Review of daily concrete orders and deliveries of projects * Ensuring raw materials are available to meet daily production requirements and ensuring stock levels are maintained * Carrying out routine maintenance on the plant and equipment as required * Constant monitoring of work in progress and pending contracts * Undertaking regular housekeeping activities About you: * Qualifications in Engineering, Business or related disciplines (preferred but not essential) * Credible and relevant experience within the concrete industry (essential) * Proactive in your approach to safety * Driver's license essential with front end loader or forklift competency an advantage * Construction White Card * Experience using Command Batch system / SAP and Google (beneficial) * Organised with a strong customer service and people skills * Willingness to deliver results for all stakeholders that exceed expectations * A self-starter * A team player * Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications in particular Word and Excel or their Google equivalents This is a superb opportunity to join our high-performing team.
