Organisation Described as one of the civil engineering wonders of the modern world, the Snowy Scheme consists of nine power stations, 16 major dams, 80 kilometers of aqueducts and 145 kilometers of interconnected tunnels. Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme’s history. It is a nation-building renewable energy project that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. Position Reporting in the Head of HSEQ, the HSE Lead will be tasked with supporting the business across multiple projects across Australia and work closely with the HSEQ department, to deliver of the safety strategy. This person will be production focused, with strong experience in large civil infrastructure projects. Requirements Minimum Tertiary Qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent Significant experience in leading large-scale projects, and teams within a complex high-risk environment Lead the project/site based HSE team to deliver on all requirements Provide leadership and actively develop the skills and capability of the site based HSE team Ensure compliance with all HSE company procedures, and regulatory and legislative requirements Promote good health, safety and environmental practices throughout all company activities Investigate HSE incidents as required; provide accurate reports and recommendations, corrective actions and/or preventative measures Benefits & Next Steps    Outstanding opportunity with a leading civil engineering company, with a great opportunity to work on an iconic, large scale project.    If you are interested in this position, please apply directly with your resume in Word format and a brief covering letter outlining your suitability to  Jason O'Dowd  at  jason.odowd@zenergygroup.com.au  or call 1300 333 400.
