About the role : We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Quality, Risk & Safeguarding Manager to join our organisation in a part-time role based at our Ballarat office.

In this role you will be responsible to promote organisational culture that is enabled by strong systems and governance to oversee organisational risk, quality assurance and safeguarding across the entire organisation.

This management appointment sits within the leadership group and will work closely with the leaders to ensure an organisation-wide integrated approach to quality, risk, and safeguarding including developing and administering policy, and internal audit frameworks.

This role will ensure we continue to deliver high-quality person-centered care that is aligned to the expectations and needs of our customers, staff and the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding compliance requirements, through positive relationship building, coaching, mentoring, and collaborating with stakeholders.

What we are looking for

  • A motivated individual with experience in maintaining and monitoring quality systems, with a preference in human service environment.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and risk management frameworks and ideally have 3 to 5 -years minimum experience in a similar quality assurance /management role.
  • A sound understanding of NDIS Quality and Safeguarding frameworks and standards.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent track record of working closely with teams and a natural aptitude to lead others on the quality compliance journey.
