The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</p> <p><b>Job Summary</b></p> <p>We are seeking a Completion Engineering Specialist to join the JRAK Engineering and SGNA Engineering divisions of Well Completion Operation & Production Engineering Department. The JRAK and SGNA Engineering Production Engineering divisions are responsible for maximizing the efficiency and output of This Company unconventional assets by employing cutting-edge techniques and technologies to optimize production processes, enhance reservoir performance, and reduce operational cost.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead production optimization solutions for existing producing wells and future development areas.</li> <li>Conduct routine well surveillance, diagnose problem wells, and proficiently implement downhole remediation practices. Prepare field operational procedures.</li> <li>Collaborate with the drilling team on completion proposals, installation, snubbing unit operation, and tubing installation and retrieval.</li> <li>Conduct trial tests of new advanced well completion technologies and provide technical support for designing advanced well completions.</li> <li>Monitor daily operations and provide support for well surveillance.</li> <li>Lead a group of engineers in specific tasks and studies such as new field development, trial tests of new technologies, and participate in company engineering standard reviews and the development of young professionals.</li> <li>Collaborate with the drilling department and frac service provider on wellhead transition, barrier requirements, and design fit-for-purpose solutions.</li> <li>Plan and program field/well opportunities, develop surveillance plans, and provide support for business planning.</li> <li>Take responsibility for well and field completion performance and integrity modeling using software such as WellCat.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</strong></li> <li>Hold a Bachelor's degree in petroleum or mechanical engineering from a recognized and approved program.</li> <li>Possess at least 15 years of experience in production engineering and production optimization, including a minimum of 10 years in unconventional production engineering and optimization.</li> <li>Demonstrate strong expertise in unconventional behaviors, well performance analysis, and fluid dynamics.</li> <li>Bring experience in unconventional resources or HPHT/tight gas & oil wells with a good understanding of hydraulic fracturing and its impact on flowback/production practices.</li> <li>Showcase a proven record of successful wellhead and downhole completion design, optimization, and troubleshooting.</li> <li>Exhibit strong expertise in material and metallurgical selection, failure analysis, and inspection.</li> <li>Have the ability to assist in the development and implementation of flow assurance techniques, programs, and operational procedures.</li> <li>Possess knowledge of industry regulations, safety practices, and standards.</li> </ul>
