We currently have a vacancy for a Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Manager to join our team! The role is a full time position based at our Melbourne Head Office .

Overall Role Purpose

As a Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Manager in our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and administer Rewards programs/ plans, job analysis, evaluation and market benchmarking to align employee pay levels with the external and internal value of jobs as well as employees performance in line with business needs, Rewards philosophy and plans, best practices and local legal requirements.
  • Participate in design of Payroll processes and ensure implementation of Payroll processes with the objective of accurate and timely employee payments in line with Payroll process guidelines, best practices and local legislation requirements.

To be successful in the role, your skills and experience will include :

  • Essential_:

  • Minimum of six (6) years’ experience within a similar role required

  • Exposure with more complex, relevant key aspects of HR processes including Talent, C&B, ER / IR, etc.

  • Previous experience partnering with the wider business at a senior management and executive level in a complex environment e.g. multi-country / customers

  • Team leadership - small to medium size teams

  • Prior budget management experience; forecasting

  • HRIS experience

  • Strong Labour Legislations, Awards knowledge especially payroll related areas e.g. taxation, superannuation, shares schemes, etc.

  • Business understanding; strategy, processes, knowledge

  • Desirable_

  • Previous work experience in the Freight forwarding industry.
