Pre-Delivery Coordinator (AK7584)

Our client operates a successful multi-franchised dealership located in the Whitsundays region of Queensland. They are seeking a Pre-Delivery Coordinator to join their dealership group, and oversee the launch of their offsite PD, Reconditioning and Parts centre.  Situated just 20 minutes inland from the popular coastal town of Airlie Beach, you will find the charming town of Proserpine. Surrounded by fertile lands, supporting cattle grazing and sugar cane, the town has modern facilities, sporting venues, golf course and multiple country style pubs. To be considered for this role, the right person must be a trade qualified Automotive Technician with strong pre-delivery experience. They must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be computer literate, have a commitment to excellent customer service and have a strong ability to multi-task. This family-owned dealership group are in the process of opening an off-site Pre-Delivery, Used Vehicle Reconditioning and Parts storage site. Upon opening this site, it will support one of the companies’ dealerships, and will eventually handle these jobs for multiple sites. Key job functions: Oversee the launch of this dealerships PD Centre Support all staff in each section Assist with vehicle diagnostics Promoting a safe work environment Be able to coordinate pre-delivery and accessories teams Liaise effectively with sales and service team Ensure staff are meeting deadlines on vehicle delivery, reconditioning and RWC Have some stock control knowledge to oversee parts storage. To be successful in this unique role, you must hold strong mechanical abilities, whilst also have the ability to oversee, motivate and lead the teams located on site. In return you will be rewarded with a strong salary, which is negotiable, dependent on experience.
