Facility Coordinator DCS Clerk Grade 7/8 – $106,025 - $117,363 + super 1x ongoing role availableGosford location (close to Gosford station)Onsite Gosford office) attendance required, limited options to work from homeThe Department of Customer Service (DCS) is a service provider, Regulator and Central Agency of government. We are transforming the way we do business to help make NSW great.This is an essential role in overseeing the maintenance and day to day running of Gosford CBD facilities and multiple NSW Regional offices, within commercial buildings, supporting a variety of Public Service Agencies and business groups within DCS. Your primary role will be providing Facilities/Asset Maintenance, coordinating repairs and minor works, engaging with various stakeholders and contractors, as required in meeting current or emerging business needs.You’ll be responsible for: Providing recommendations around repairs, troubleshooting and maintenance schedules in line with business priorities and legislative guidelinesAssisting in monitoring emergency management training and compliance across DCS tenanciesEnsure that staff, contractors and members of the public are provided with a safe environment to work and visit.Preparing documentation and coordinating works or repairs of reported building / tenancy issues making sure they are appropriately dealt with in a timely mannerConfirm that occupation levels are in accordance with DCS standards and coordinating stack plansEssential requirements: Satisfactory criminal records checkMay be required to work out of hoursThe role is based in Gosford, current NSW driver's licence and ability and willingness to travel throughout the State Regional areas when requiredMust have demonstrated experience working in a Public Service role liaising with multiple Government departmentsMust have demonstrated experience in a Procurement roleMust have demonstrated experience at administrative/training level in CMMSMust have demonstrated extensive experience in office/staff relocation To be successful in this role you will have: Previous experience in working in a Government Facilities Management role preferably managing multiple sitesPrevious experience in a Procurement roleCompetent with Office 365 and at administration/trainer level of a Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Ability to engage all stakeholders including strong negotiation and influencing skillsAbility to liaise with contractors and understand time frames, costs and materials in relation to maintenance requirementsWorking cooperatively with the Workplace Services teams and ability to coach and develop staff to meet high levels of customer support and engagement What we need from you:To start your journey towards becoming our Facility Coordinator, please click on the link below and attach your resume (max 5 pages) and cover letter (max 2 pages).
