Established over a decade ago our clients have a long-standing history of supplying quality cuisine to leading hotels, restaurants, retailers, caterers, manufacturers, and butchers across the world. As the Logistics Co-ordinator you will be responsible for all areas relating to export order management and customer service. Duties include but are not limited to: • Managing freight bookings • Advising customers on confirmed / revised flight details. • Documentation on both air and sea freight orders • Checking with suppliers that product is delivering on time. • Updating or creating Excel spreadsheets • Assisting Sales & other Logistics personnel as needed • Filing, answering phones and other general office duties. What you bring: • Exceptional Customer Service Skills • The ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced work environment. • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritise workload. • Microsoft skill in Outlook, Word, and Excel • Ability to work with minimum supervision and work as a part of a tight knit team. • Be able to use own initiative. • High Level of Attention to detail and accuracy and efficient data entry skills. • Minimum three years' experience in Export Shipping /Logistics. As you will have direct contact with clients, third-party service providers and colleagues you will need to have good communication skills and be able to work well within a team. Organisational, planning, time management, good geographical knowledge and problem-solving skills are essential.
