The role  An exciting opportunity is open for a qualified Early Childhood Teacher to support the team as a room leader at Kids’ Uni North. This opportunity is offered on a permanent full time basis. Our 59 place service caters for children aged 0 – 6 years and operates above regulations, ratios and required qualifications.  This key role at the centre will see you providing leadership and mentoring to educators within your room, including role modelling best practice and guiding educators to do the same. You will be responsible for ensuring that the team are developing and implementing high quality educational programs that are philosophically aligned. In this role, you will lead the implementation of the quality improvement plan, resolve daily issues within the classroom and respond to complaints from families, with the support of the Director.  Benefits We have a generous package on offer to ensure you get the most out of your Pulse experience: Paid breaks and required training opportunities are paid at overtime rates  Generous leave entitlements – approximately 8 weeks per year including annual leave, rostered days off, time in lieu and concessional days (extra days off between Christmas and New Year’s Eve). Access to and support from Inclusion Support and Curriculum and Pedagogy teachers  Requirements Qualified with a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent. Strong leadership skills and ability to coach and mentor staff. Demonstrated experience in taking initiative within your room/team and driving Kids’ Uni philosophy and approaches to teaching practice. Demonstrated experience leading a team to develop educational programs for children aged 0 – 6 years old.  Ability to work flexible hours to meet the operational demands of the centre, as needed.
