Field Service Fitter - Orange

The OpportunityWe are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Field Service team based in the Orange NSW Region. Reporting to our Revesby Branch, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic, repair and maintenance services to our customer’s equipment in the Orange, Parkes and central NSW regions.Key responsibilities include:Providing onsite technical support on Hitachi equipment including diagnostics, repair and maintenanceProviding exceptional customer service to our customersEnsure that work areas always kept tidy with all relevant documentation complete and submitted on timeConducting your work in compliance with all quality and safety standards and proceduresTo be successful in the role, you will possess:Minimum Certificate III in a Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic).Previous experience as a heavy diesel mechanicOEM equipment experience highly regardedCurrent driver’s licenseAbility to work autonomously and proactively solve technical issuesExcellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer service etiquetteAn uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and proceduresAt Hitachi, we are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer who recruits based on merit and capabilities.
