This hands-on role will actively engage and partner with primary care providers, such as general practice, Aboriginal health organisations and allied health at an operational level to understand health priorities and local provider needs and assist with targeted support and capability building activities. What you would be doing Reporting to the Manager – Practice Improvement, you will: Work proactively to enhance and build relationships with various healthcare stakeholders at an organisational level - elevating awareness of the pivotal role and scope of Primary Health Tasmania Work closely with your team to enhance the capabilities of general practice management, embedding continuous quality improvement strategies Identify areas of need and develop innovative initiatives with the support of your team and manager Collect, analyse and document information to aid in targeted engagement with primary health workforce and providers What you’ll look like Experience working in a general practice, or primary health would be ideal, and you might also have clinical/allied health, health-related or other relevant qualifications Outstanding communication and relationship building skills, and the ability to promote and demonstrate health system tools, resources and initiatives Able to think on your feet, quickly solve problems, collaborate and show initiative in meeting identified practice needs and delivering results A culture champion – understanding that every day, you contribute to what makes Primary Health Tasmania a great place to work.
