CERT III IN CONSERVATION & ECOSYTEM MANAGEMENT TRAINEESHIP - CIVIL CONSTRUCTION PATHWAY PROGRAM Are you a looking for an Environmental role within the Civil Construction industry? Protech have partnered with a major infrastructure project based in Coomera to deliver a PAID 12-week pre-apprenticeship program where you will obtain a Cert I in Construction prior to commencing in a Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management. The Cert I in Construction will provide you with awareness and exposure to the civil construction industry which is pivotal to the knowledge and skills required once you move into a Health & Safety Traineeship. ABOUT YOU • A strong desire for a career as an Environmental Representative in the Civil Construction Industry • Not previously completed a Cert I in Construction or Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management. • Able to get to work each day with reliable transport • Able to pass a Pre-employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Testing • Preferable - provide 2 recent, contactable work references • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply ABOUT THE ROLE • Commencing 02nd April • Coomera based • Pay rate of $25.00 plus $40 travel a day • Work full-time hours (38 hours per week) whilst learning on the job • Daily duties will be conducted via a buddy system, where tasks will be completed in conjunction with training modules and include but not limited to following WH&S procedures, administration and reporting tasks BENEFITS • PPE and uniform provided • Earn and learn while completing your qualification • Be supported by Protech who will monitor and support you throughout the program *The filling of these positions is intended to constitute a special opportunity measure under section 8(1) of the Racial Discrimination Act 1975 (Cth), and section 105 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld).
