Position Details About the roleSouth West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team and provide all electrical services, maintenance, and repairs across all SWH campuses in a proactive, safe and professional manner.This role will maintain and carry out functions specific to intricate or complex electrical control systems which will require the incumbent to be able to examine, diagnose, repair and modify inter-connected circuits on equipment such as automatic boilers, emergency generator sets, HVAC units (large commercial and domestic types), automatic doors and boom gates, refrigerators and deep freezers (large commercial types), intercom and nurse call systems, lighting systems and commercial washersYou will be required to participate in an on-call roster after hours and support other on-call team members as required.This is a full time (80 hours per fortnight) ongoing position with a monthly ADO. What you bringThe successful applicant will hold a relevant A Grade Electrical trade qualification and current Australian driver's license. Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously and in a team, environment is essential to the success of this role. You must demonstrate strategic problem-solving skills and flexibility in a changing environment.
