Plant Operator WRC

The Opportunity Veolia has an exciting opportunity for a Plant Operator within its Resource Recovery Division on the Gold Coast (Waste and Recycling Centre). This role will ensure the safe, efficient disposal and management of stockpiles and sorting of recyclable rubbish. The role will also require monitoring the flow and production of materials from customers and assisting with the correct unloading and disposal at the Waste and Recycling Centres. This role will be based at Reedy Creek 4227.What's on offer Permanent position & competitive hourly rate of pay Job security due to length of contract Career progression & training opportunities Secure and developing industry within an essential services What you'll be responsible for Accepting and processing incoming waste at the Waste and Recycling Centres Assist in the operational management of the individual work areas Complete scheduled work as instructed Operate and maintain individual work areas in a safe and efficient manner Work with customers to assist in the correct unloading of waste Monitor any non-conforming materials and report any unauthorised tipped material, as identified in Veolia policy and procedure What you'll need to be successful Multi-ticketed Operators are highly desirable Front End Loader experience (mandatory) Forklift License Waste Experience Heavy Rigid Licence (desirable) Veolia’s AlwaysSafe culture means that we care about the safety of people on our sites.
