Lead Business Analyst

Davidson are partnering with our valued client within the utilities sector who are seeking a Lead Business Analyst to support a new program for an initial 12-month contract. Melbourne CBD location with flexible 3 days in office attendance. The Role As a Lead Business Analyst you will lead and be responsible for end-to-end projects across different delivery streams. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of business processes, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to lead cross functional teams. Key responsibilities: Leading the initiation and planning phases of multiple greenfield projects simultaneously. Conducting detailed business analysis to understand, document and translate business requirments into functional specifications. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, project managers, and technical teams. Monitoring project progress, identifying risks and issues, and implementing migration strategies. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and optimisation throughout the project life cycle. About You To be a successful applicant, you will be an experienced Lead Business Analyst / Hands on Business Analyst who is a driven self-starter with a strong utilities background. You will also have: Experience in the utilities and energy sector, with a strong understanding of industry specific challenges and opportunities. Experience with customer billing systems / energy trading systems (Gentrack / Tally) is advantageous. Proven ability to work across multiple projects concurrently. Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
