We're looking for empathic and passionate Support Workers to join our team and empower our customers to live their life, their way .**

As a Support Worker

you will work alongside our customers to make decisions about their lives that help them achieve their goals; no matter how big or small they are.

You will play a crucial role in the lives of our customers and their families, not only offering physical assistance in daily activities, but also providing companionship and emotional support. In particular, you will:

  • help customers to live at home **by assisting with mealtimes, medication, mobility, dressing, bathing and other aspects of daily living.
  • support customers to stay social **by attending our Woodvale or Kingsley Social Centres.
  • support customers to get out a nd about by transporting them to-and-from appointments, to the shops or even trips out with others.
  • help customers in life **by providing personal care, respite, or specialised nursing or allied heath supports.

Our ideal Support Worker...

will possess a Cert III in Individual Support (or equivalent) and have experience in a similar role. You will celebrate diversity and culture, promote wellness and reablement through positive relationship building, respect freedom of expression and the independent decision making of our customers.

You will also have:

  • current National Police Clearance (obtained within last six months)
  • current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • current certification in Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) and Provide CPR (HLTAID009)
  • evidence of COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations
  • full Driver's Licence (WA or International)
  • a reliable vehicle with current insurance and registration.
