Reporting to the COO, this role will have overall responsibility for managing and continually improving our Sydney production plant. Additionally, you will oversee the management of TZ properties in Australia, whether owned or leased.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the manufacture of the company’s products in alignment with our Quality Management System, internal objectives, and customer expectations regarding quality, on-time delivery, and financial performance.
  • Serve as a resource for technical expertise, lean thinking, and problem-solving, leading plant teams to optimize production effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Promote the flow of materials and relevant information, uphold Health & Safety and Environmental standards, and foster staff engagement and loyalty.
  • Develop a motivated, flexible, and loyal team to support the above goals.

Qualifications What you will bring to the role**

  • Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record in challenging and improving manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient in Lean Thinking and Problem Solving (Six Sigma or similar methodologies).
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent people management and communication abilities.
  • Skilled in change management.
  • Thorough understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
  • Experience with hazardous substances management
  • Experience in facility and property management.
  • Knowledgeable in New Product Development processes and industrialization.
  • Knowledge in design for manufacturability and safety.
  • Relevant engineering degree (mechanical, mechatronics, manufacturing) with honors or a master’s degree.
