The opportunity...

As a member of the Gardening Crew, you will play a crucial role in working alongside people of all abilities to undertake gardening duties from mowing to whipper snipping, hedging and weeding.

Reporting to the Crew Coordinator, you'll feel supported to deliver quality services to CatholicCare Customers.

What you will need

  • Some experience or interest in gardening, horticulture, or related fields
  • Understanding and experience in working with individuals with diverse abilities or disabilities
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to provide clear instructions and support
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards facilitating growth and development in others
  • Ability to adapt tasks and instructions to accommodate varying skill levels and learning styles
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to gardening activities
  • Willing to undertake a NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) and complete of the NDIS Quality, Safety and You course
  • Working with Children Check
