As an IT Support Engineer , you will join the IT support team located at our HQ at Brisbane Airport Hangars, providing front-line day-to-day support to pilots, flight crew, aircraft engineers, and corporate support services. You will be supporting over 1,200 users and more than 2,000 endpoints (Windows and iOS) across eight bases. The IT Support Engineer is responsible for, but not limited to: End User Compute (SOE, patch, build, deployment and asset/licence procurement) Provide technical support on IT hardware/software, business applications & processes PowerShell scripting and automation/orchestration experience Troubleshoot IT issues, root cause analysis and implement solutions Advanced EntraID/AD and Group Policy Administration Intune Device and Configuration Policy Administration Incident & Event Outage planning and communications Contribute to and deliver continuous improvement across processes and procedures in order to enhance services and support. Participation in the weekly after-hours on-call roster is required (Every 7-8 weeks). What’s in it for me? Who we are looking for: Our ideal candidate is a customer-focused professional with a strong background in End User Compute support and a solid technical foundation. You thrive in dynamic environments and are committed to upholding high-quality standards. As a reliable team player, you embrace challenges and adapt seamlessly to shifting priorities, ensuring business continuity and operational excellence. Your skills will consist of: Proven experience in IT support, particularly in End User Compute, with a focus on 24/7 operations. Proficient in ITSM and device management toolsets (e.g., KACE, ManageEngine, VMWare UEM, Intune). Strong technical expertise in computer hardware, peripherals, telephony, and video conferencing technologies. Comprehensive understanding of Windows and iOS operating systems and solid experience with Microsoft 365, MS Exchange Online, Entra/AD, DNS, and DHCP. Excellent problem-solving abilities, coupled with strong communication skills and a positive 'can-do' attitude. Relevant IT certifications (ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft certifications) are highly desirable Does this sound like you?
