We pride ourselves on the exceptional services we deliver to our clients within the community as well as the clients that reside within our 31 aged care Residences. POSITION DESCRIPTION This position supports the Manager to lead and develop an effective, empowered and efficient team of staff within a designated residence to deliver high quality care and service to residents of BlueCross and is designed to provide superior leadership in the management and delivery of high-quality clinical care to residents. The role is targeted at staff who are looking for a Residence Manager role in the future and successful applicants will need to be able to capably step into the Residence Manager role at the specific site when required. REPORTS TOResidence Manager QUALIFICATIONS Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registrationSKILLS & EXPERIANCE Supervision/leadership/management experience in aged care, preferably in a residential setting Superior communication skills Customer Service experience Understanding of quality management systems Recruitment of staff, rostering and performance management Highly organized and can manage responsibilities and own priorities and assist others in doing the same. Ability to foster teamwork and effectively work as a team member, whilst providing leadership Ability to effectively conduct and facilitate meetings. Ability to identify, resolve and manage problems and resolve conflict situations effectively Computer literacy – particularly Outlook, Word, Excel Ability to provide staff training and coaching.
