Customer Service Specialist, Strategic Accounts

Join us and be a part of DSV’s global family. DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Customer Service Specialist, Strategic Accounts in Melbourne. The position is responsible for liaising with customers & suppliers in an effective and timely manner whilst directing, compiling and completing the necessary documentation within the operations team. This position is required to ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. Your typical day at DSV: Work together with Strategic Accounts team to ensure quality and accuracy of work delivered Carry out work flow processes in accordance with management directive, customer instructions, SOPs and specified requirements Establish and maintain strong client relationships with DSV customers (internal and external), suppliers and service providers both locally and overseas Communicate (verbal and written) with customers, suppliers and other team members to obtain information or communicate issues Solve issues relating to information recorded on documents, calculations of costings and load size Support the Manager with day to day activities, and other reasonable tasks and projects as required Plan and prioritize shipments from the relevant CargowiseOne workbenches in order to achieve milestone requirements, designated KPIs and deadlines Solve operational issues with a range of stakeholders including but not to limited: airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, co-loaders and customers Meet customer delivery expectations on shipments by adhering to department SOPs, milestones and KPI deadlines Maximize profitability for transport jobs, by accurately processing jobs in a timely and cost effective manner Carry out deliveries in accordance with Management directive, customer instructions and specified requirements About You: Experience in Transport & Freight Forwarding Proficient in handling LCL, FCL and Airfreight cartage Cargowise One knowledge and experience is essential Why DSV?
