Architectural Draftsperson

DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS: Providing a total concept to completion service, Attena Group draws upon extensive experience in residential, commercial and fit-out projects, from small renovations to large multi-residential developments. We need Architectural Draftsperson to perform the following tasks and responsibilities: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.      Creating accurate and detailed drawings based on the architect's designs. 2.      Using computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce 2D and 3D drawings of buildings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and other architectural details. 3.      Working closely with architects to understand their design intent and specifications. 4.      Attending meetings and discussions to gather information and ensure that the drawings accurately reflect the design requirements. 5.      Selecting and specifying materials, finishes, and building components for the construction project. 6.      Researching and incorporating appropriate products and systems into the drawings Making revisions and modifications to the drawings based on feedback from architects, clients, or regulatory authorities and being able to quickly and accurately update the drawings to reflect these changes. 7.      Collaborating with other professionals, such as engineers and contractors, and preparing documentation, such as design sketches, construction details, and specifications. 8.      Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and clarity of the drawings. 9.      Reviewing the work carefully, checking dimensions, and verifying that the drawings align with the project requirements. 10.  Having a good understanding of building codes, regulations, and zoning requirements and incorporating these guidelines into the drawings to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards. 3 Appropriate candidate must have the following skills, education and experience: Education                     :          Degree or Advanced Diploma or Diploma in related field Australian Experience   :          At least 3 + years of Australian Experience OR Overseas Experience    :          At least 3+ years of Overseas Experience Specialist                     :          Draftsperson - Architecture Work Rights                 :          Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or Full Work Rights Holder Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents will be preferred.
