You will get to: Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling the platform Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities Adhere to patterns and practices for secure software development Ensure all code is documented and participate in code reviews Ensure “shift left” testing policies are implemented, with unit testing being part of each code release Adhere to the rules in place for our source control management (ie. Git) More about you: Demonstrated capacity to manage information security in an agile development environment Strong analytical skills plus excellent written, oral communication and presentations skills Demonstrated orientation towards using initiative, being proactive and accountable. Demonstrated ability to prioritise competing requirements and resolve conflicts. Experience with Agile software development utilising the Kanban or Scrum methodology. Tertiary qualification at a degree level in Information Technology. Hands on experience with SQL Server, Azure Cloud services, REST API Exposure to system performance and capacity planning, platform upgrades, root cause analysis and application change management processes. Exposure to React and Angular frameworks Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Software Developer Minimum 3 years .NET development experience building highly available web applications using C#, ASP.NET, Web Services, JavaScript Why you should become a ReadyTecher :  A day off for your birthday- hip hip hooray!
