RESIDENCE MANAGER

The Residence Manager is required to lead and develop an effective, empowered and efficient team of staff within a designated residence to deliver high quality care and service to residents of BlueCross. This role is a senior management role within the Residential Business Unit at Box Hill . Reports To: Regional Manager Qualifications / Experience / Skills Required / Personal Attributes Essential • Experience in aged care management, preferably in residential setting • Demonstrated understanding of quality management systems • Previous experience in the recruitment of staff, rostering and performance management • Highly organized – demonstrates can manage own responsibilities and priorities and assist others to do the same. • Previous experience in building and maintaining a team. • Proven ability to manage to a financial budget and ensure overall profit result is achieved. • Proven ability to manage conflict situations. • Demonstrated high level of Computer literacy – particularly Outlook, Word, Excel • Ability to provide staff training and coaching.
