Senior Designer | Pyrmont, SydneyWe are currently looking for an experienced Senior Designer to join our Design Team. Reporting to the Head of Design Innovation you will be responsible for driving innovative concepts, inspiring range creation and big ideas for apparel, sleep, and babywear with a focus across all brands in the Hanes Australasia portfolio. This role requires an ability to manage projects by adapting quickly and working collaboratively with key stakeholders to execute innovative new concepts and processes. Key responsibilities include: Creative concept development and innovative product design.Directional research and interpretation of global macro, print/colour/shape/raw material, and market trends.Strong and inspiring presentation skills.Developing strategic and commercial ranges.Coaching and managing design team members to foster a constructive and creative environment.Collaborating and developing strong relationships with cross functional teams.Adaptability managing multiple timelines to meet business requirements. Essential for your success is: A strong knowledge of fabric and textiles, garment construction and manufacturing.Proven track record of commercial creativity, 6-8+ years' industry experience, plus some experience in a senior designer role.Experience with designing for Kids, Baby, Apparel would be idea Degree in Fashion and Design or a related fieldProficient in IT systems – Adobe programs, MS office including excel, PowerPoint and teams SharePoint.Confident, creative, and inspiring team player who's an adaptable fast learner.Collaborative people person, able to interact and build relationships with multiple stakeholders.Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing direct reports.An ability to work quickly, delivering a high output within a dynamic past paced environment.
