About the role In this position of a Portfolio Change Manager which is a twelve month fixed-term contract, you will report into the Change Practice Lead within the Technology Strategy, Transformation and Architecture function. The primary function of this role will be to design and implement change strategies for assigned initiatives that are highly technical in nature. You will be involved in delivering change activities safely and effectively for people side of change – culture, roles, processes, and technology. You will also deliver end to end change maximising user system adoption and usage whist minimising resistance for key technology transformation and priority programs. Your key responsibilities will include: Develop and apply the principles, processes, behaviours, and skills to effectively identify and manage change, and support others through it. Change communication strategies and implementation approach. Change impact and learning needs analysis with delivery of training and other relevant initiatives to address identified needs. Process updates in line with the change. Ensure business change impacts are understood and effectively mitigated. Facilitation to meet change management deliverables. Management of all change deliverables. To develop and implement change management strategies to support user system change adoption on priority projects. Monitor project key change delivery and report status to the relevant Steering Committee/s Monitor and update Change Practice Lead, senior management, governance forums and key stakeholders on priority programs with large/complex change Identify and plan for change related mitigations/resolutions in conjunction with Program Leaders. Accountable for individual compliance with company values, policies, and procedures including Coles Code of Conduct) and all applicable external laws and regulations. About you and your skills Commercial Skills and Qualifications Proven years of experience leading and executing change in a portfolio of multiple projects. FMCG industry experience Experience in design and delivery of practical and outcomes focussed approach for large scale Technology changes. Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization across multiple projects concurrently. Ability to prioritise and re-prioritise projects from change management delivery perspective whist ensuring project leads are aligned to expectations. Experience and in-depth knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools to deliver impactful change plans Is able to create Single View of Change for the allocated portfolio projects and utilise the heatmap of impact across business teams, vendors, customers to help drive change portfolio decisions whilst integrating impacts with other Technology portfolios Successfully embedded cultural, technology, process and new ways of working changes Being able to influence at senior level but also to work operationally with the programs and wide business stakeholder network. Designed creative change interventions across wide range of audiences to engage people and for the change ‘to stick’ Strengths in advocating the use of project and change management disciplines across all stages of the project lifecycles Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal with excellent active listening skills Demonstrated experience in engaging and influencing with senior executives In-depth understanding of project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle and aligning change approach to various project phases Experience using the ADKAR change model is highly desirable. Tertiary Degree in Business, Technology, or Psychology preferred PROSCI professional change management certification desired Systems thinker with an ability to identify links, dependencies, and gaps Is passionate about change management and value it delivers, accountable and forward-thinking Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal If this role sounds like the one for you, have a chat with your line manager, then get your application in!
