Permanent, Full-time position with a Fortnightly RDO plus commuter use of fleet vehicle Band 6 salary range from $82,922 to $89,577 per annum plus statutory superannuation  An exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic and passionate team The Role The Supervisor of Arboriculture will play a pivotal role in ensuring the management and maintenance of the City of Ballarat's unique urban forest (100,000+ trees) using best industry practice and in accordance with City of Ballarat's Tree and Road Management Plans.  Reporting to the Coordinator Urban Forest and Open Spaces, the Supervisor Arboriculture will be responsible for: Leading a team in developing, setting and monitoring outcomes to achieve work area programs and projects.   Positively assist their team in delivering the technical aspects of the role to ensure that the organisation is able to meet its corporate objectives. Proactively contribute towards the development of forward plans for the work area that enable the organisation to deliver on the community strategic plan.  Complying with all relevant organisational codes, policies, procedures, guidelines and standards, and with the requirements of the appropriate legislation.  About You Do you possess the following? Diploma in Arboriculture or equivalent knowledge and experience  Business management qualifications an advantage  Understanding of Arboriculture Minimum Industry Standards  Minimum 5 years' experience in leading a successful team Local Government experience an advantage   Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ or QTRA)  Extensive knowledge of workplace health and safety in relation to the Arboriculture Industry  To Apply To apply for this position please click the  Apply button and submit your application.
