The Opportunity Come and discover the opportunity to join our  Pulverised Coal Injection (PCI) Maintenance Team at our  Port Kembla  Manufacturing facility as a  Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator . As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers. The Pulverised Coal Injection (PCI) Plant provides fuel that is essential to No.5 Blast Furnace and will provide fuel to the No.6 Blast Furnace once it is commissioned. The PCI Plant is an integral part of our supply chain operations, and we are excited to grow our team. In this critical role, you will use your technical background and experience to deliver key outcomes in maintaining and developing the PCI equipment. You'll implement and improve our maintenance strategies to achieve optimum equipment performance and reduction in failures. Your contributions will ensure that this world-class asset delivers safe, efficient and reliable continuous operations. What Will You Do? As a Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator, you will: supervise the day-to-day management of plant maintenance activities, including planning, organising, execution and review of maintenance coordinate and provide technical support to the maintenance resources within the section coach, mentor and develop maintenance personnel in manufacturing excellence principles and process, particularly around root cause and problem analysis and the development and execution of corrective actions participate in cost reduction and capital upgrade projects respond to the day-to-day Mechanical availability and reliability issues More About You As an enthusiastic and motivated individual, you will bring your experience and demonstrate a willingness to develop your skills.
