The Green is where urban retirement living meets open skies and subtropical landscapes, residents are free to move and live as they like.  About the role  We are currently seeking an empathetic and sophisticated professional to join Retire Australia in the role of Sales Consultant at The Green Retirement Village with a strong future pipeline for a successful consultant.  As a sales Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to sell retirement living at the village by building lasting relationships through village tours and sales appointments. You will be working with a collaborative team who will be assisting in booking these appointments through effective marketing and lead generation programs, in line with the overall RetireAustralia Sales and Marketing Plan.  You will be proactive in establishing networks and local community relationships and maintain accurate details of contacts and enquiries with a strong commitment to follow-up.  To be successful in this role, you will need to be passionate with a strong customer-focused approach, take the time to effectively understand prospective resident needs, and have the ability to show empathy, coupled with outstanding negotiating skills. Within this sales role you will: Exhibit a passion for sales with a commitment to a high level of customer service and strong relationship building; Utilise outstanding people skills to understand client needs and motivators; identifying the needs of our target demographic; Take a systematic approach to follow up sale opportunities, drive resident referral to achieve targets for deposits and settled sales on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis; Become a “part” of the Retirement community you are selling, via regular engagement with residents; Conduct sales events at the community and offsite including expos, sales open days; Build and maintain professional relationships with local businesses such as key real estate agents, medical providers and sporting groups; Prioritize your time efficiently and effectively. About you You will have a genuine interest in the retirement industry and find working with seniors a rewarding experience. You must be passionate about customer service and enjoy supporting others in reaching their goals and to continue to live independently. To be successful you will have the following: Real Estate Certificate/Registration Proven sales experience with 3 - 5 years in a consumer facing role; Outstanding people skills and willing to take the time to understand client needs and motivators; Energetic and engaging with the ability to connect with our target demographic; Effective time management; A current Police Clearance Check less than six months old; Comprehensively insured car and full licence; As part of the application process, you will be required to provide a National Police Check, proof of right to work in Australia, verification of identification and qualifications, and participate in pre-employment assessment.
