Days or afternoon shifts! $38.15 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) + penalties A thrilling opportunity with our client, a renowned supermarket chain, has arisen as they open their doors to assistant section leaders for an incredible casual position at their cutting-edge distribution center in Jandakot. This role is working shift between Monday-Sunday on day or afternoon shift, starting as early as 5am and finishing as late as 9pm depending on which shift, on an hourly rate of $38.15 (inclusive of 25% casual loading) + penalties. About your new role: In charge of all employees under their purview when the Section Leader is not present. Uphold the strictest standards of hygiene and security Assist in creating, managing, and inspiring a competent logistics department that meets the highest standards Keep expenses under control by closely monitoring inventory losses, contractor quality, personnel turnover, and productivity. Take the effort to oversee, manage, and continuously raise the caliber and productivity of work completed in their area of accountability. Ensure that all machinery, including mechanical handling equipment, is operated legally, safely, and effectively. Additionally, make sure that trucks and forklifts are securely refueled at the conclusion of each shift.
